Sarah and Angelo met at Camp Decision (a youth church camp) where they were both volunteering as leaders with their youth groups.

Sarah and Angelo quickly became best friends and a year after they met found themselves back at Camp Decision volunteering, but this time there was something different.

Angelo called Sarah and said "You know how you want to be my girlfriend?" Sarah responded, "Yeah?" The rest was history. Sarah and Angelo began their journey of long-distance dating!

Angelo flew to Mississippi for the first time and COVID-19 decided to cancel everything including his flight home. Sarah and her family had to drive Angelo back over the Florida state line to meet his mom to take him home.

Fast forward 4 years full of becoming best friends with each other, airports, Southwest, and FaceTime... Angelo surprised Sarah on their 4 year anniversary by asking her to spend the rest of their lives together and of course, she said Yes!!!
